About Me

I am a stay at home mom of a 24 week premature baby. Before my son was born I did extensive research on anything baby. After he was born and was starting to thrive I created Growing Your Baby so that all parents could benefit from the research I do.

I have a special place in my heart for babies who were born early and my readers will find many articles on this site about Micropreemie health and amazing survival stories.

If you have a micropreemie that has beat the odds and you would like me to profile their journey please contact me a growingyourbaby@rogers.com

Thank you for visiting, please enjoy my site!

  2. HI,

I have twin girls who were born at 32 weeks gestation weighing 3.8 and 3.13.

Today, they are two years old and weigh almost 29 lbs.and you would never know they were preemies except that they do not look like an average weight for a two year old I supppose.

  3. hi there. do you have a website on your baby? 🙂 i have a 24weeker son. love to read blogs on micropreemies. happy preemie awareness month! 🙂

  4. I do have a site for him, but don’t post it publicly.

You may come across it while reading other micropreemie blogs because it is linked through some of our preemie friends.

We would love to hear how your baby is doing. Please send us his information or blog address.

  5. Hi,

Your site is fantastic! My son was born premature at 27 weeks and was in hospital for 3.5 months. I also have a blog/website relating to premature babies as i felt the need to offer support to other parents. I have saved your blog and will be making sure that i come back here as often as possible.

    Keep up the great work!

  6. hia. Im mum to identical twin girls who were born at 28 weeks after suffering twin to twin transfusion.
    They weighed 1lb 15.5oz and 2lb 12.5oz.
They were in hospital for 11 weeks before coming home.
They were born exactly 1 week before Christmas 2004 and they have just celebrated their 3rd birthday.
looking at them you cant believe they were so sick!
