InStyle Magazine scores hot mommy Katie Homes for their January Cover and manages to get her to open up about life with Tom and her role as a mom.Here are some interview highlights:
On Christmas:
“I like being Santa, finding the unexpected gifts, staying up late to wrap them, sneaking down in the morning, the coffee cakes, the hot chocolate…I love the whole thing. My dad loves Christmas too and infused that spirit in me.”
Things she loves:
“The smell of my daughter’s breath, a fresh cut lawn, pulling up to a film set for the first time, hugging my husband.”
Her Favourite Role:
“I’m living my ideal role. I love being a mom and a wife. In terms of my career, I’d love to do a period piece.”

Katie and Suri were spotted out in LA yesterday at the trendy Grove shopping mall picking up some presents at Pottery Barn Kids.
The busy mom is reported to be getting set to run in the Boston marathon that takes place on April 21, 2008. Since running the NYC Marathon Katie has said that she wants to improve her time and show that she can do it faster.

Ok! Magazine is reporting that Miss Suri Cruise will be the youngest client that Christian Louboutin has ever custom made shoes for.
The fashion house will, for $2,500, create a mold of your foot to hand-craft footwear to your exact specifications and for an additional charge of $500 to $5,000, will also create a pair of shoes for you from that mold.
Katie has apparently had a mold made for her feet and now so has Suri.
Could you imagine spend upwards of $5,000 on a pair of shoes for a child that will only wear them for 2-4 months? Me neither…

The most fashionable kid in Hollywood, Suri Cruise hit the streets of NYC with mom, Katie yesterday.
Have you ever seen a child dress more beautifully than Suri? She wears a little ruffled shirt with a cropped tweed buttoned jacket.
Katie was heading to a photo shoot for her new movie Mad Money, but maybe little Suri should be the one getting her pictures professionally done…

Katie Holmes and 16 month old daughter Suri were out shopping in Paris yesterday.
She has seen most of the world this summer and has looked adorable the whole way, even being touted as a ‘fashion icon’ of the playdate set. Suri has become such an independent little girl except for the fact that she needs to have her blankie. Katie has been toting this creme satin lined blanket all over.
I believe that the blanket is made by little giraffe and is part of the satin chenille collection.

Miss Suri Cruise was seen out for a stroll with her Mom Katie yesterday in Germany. This little monkey has been all over the world lately, flying from Germany last week to NYC and then back so that she can be with her dad, Tom Cruise, who is currently filming a movie.

Katie and Suri watch the Los Angeles Galaxy play Chelsea during a World Series of Football exhibition soccer game at the Home Depot Center on Saturday.
Ms. Cruise is looking extra adorable with her trimmed up hair and pink jumpsuit. You can really see the resemblance between mom and daughter in this photo!

Katie had Suri out at Tiergarten Park in central Berlin, Germany yesterday running around and burning off some energy.
Tom is currently filming a movie there so that family has relocated for a few weeks.
Suri has been quite the jet setter this summer. The last time we saw here she was swimming in France.

Tom Cruise and baby Suri come to visit Katie Holmes on the set of her new movie, “Mad Money,” in Shreveport, LA.
I’m sure that they have a house rented not too far from the set so that Suri can visit often.
We haven’t seen Ms. Cruise since she attended Grier Henchy’s 1st birthday party. She really is a spitting image of Tom.
