Jolie Pitts Enjoy Snow Day

Busy mom Angelina spends some time of the slopes with her kids and longtime partner Brad.

The family spent the day tubing and sking.

The couple keeps things low-key and kid-centric as they descend the slope – while Jolie’s puffy parka continued to fuel speculation that she may be expecting again.

Maddox’ Shopping Spree

Angelina takes Maddox on a shopping spree at KB Toys in Beverly Hills over the weekend.

The lucky guy is loading up the cart with some interesting toys…A warrior dart play set and rapid fire rifle dart blaster.

Pregnancy rumours have surfaced again after the star canceled a speaking engagement last minute due to “personal reasons”.

Letizia Manjani, a spokeswoman for the centre that was holding the fore mentioned engagement, found it difficult to keep the news a secret – despite her being under a gagging order.

She told me: “Angelina cancelled last week. Due to her privacy I can’t confirm her pregnancy, but I can say that the Italian newspapers are correct in their reports.”

A Day At Central Park

Angelina spent the day in Central Park with her 3 adopted children Zahara, Maddox and Pax. The children enjoyed the carousel and some ice cream. Brad and Shiloh were missing from the outing, but they were replaced by a bodyguard who helped Supermom with her three kids.

Angelina seems to have mastered the ‘double hold’. That’s what happens when you have more kids than arms, you need to carry more than one at once.

Brad and Angelina took the kids out for a boat ride in Chicago yesterday.

They seem to have the four-kid thing completely under control.

Brad carries Pax and Zahara effortlessly, while Angelina totes Shiloh and Maddox.

As always Shiloh is BEAUTIFUL and Zahara knows exactly where the cameras are.

She does not miss a thing!

The Jolie Pitts Visit The Museum

The Joile Pitt family took a private tour of the Field Museum in Chicago yesterday.

The museum shut its doors at its normal 5 p.m. closing time but reopened at 5:30 p.m. for the glamorous couple and their children, Shiloh and Maddox, said Nancy O’Shea, the museum’s public relations director.

The couple arrived in town Tuesday by private jet at Midway airport as Jolie is in town to film “Wanted,” an action flick also starring James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman.

Jolie, boyfriend Pitt and Pitt’s mother, Jane, are reportedly staying at a posh downtown hotel.

The couple and their children stayed at the museum for about an hour and a half Saturday and were given a private tour by security guards, O’Shea said.

And of course, O’Shea said, “they saw a lot of the dinosaurs.”

Maddox and Pax were also there but are not totally visible in the pictures. You can see Shiloh and Zahara better because they are being held by their parents.

Angelina, Shiloh and Maddox

He is something that you don’t see everyday…Angelina and Shiloh. The Jolie-Pitts seem to be photographed more with their adopted children than they do with their biological child.

Shiloh is very sheltered and we don’t see her very often so I was surprised to come across these photos of Angelina, Maddox and Shiloh in NYC yesterday.

I am always in awe of how perfect this baby is. She looks like a china doll!

Angelina’s Reader’s Digest Interview

Angelina Jolie doesn’t do many interviews that concern her personal life. In fact, she doesn’t even have a press rep like most Hollywood celebrities.

Readers Digest was lucky enough to get her to open up about all of the subjects she has been avoiding in the press lately.

Here are the highlights from the interview:

On Meeting Brad:

I met this amazing person, and we realized we had very similar views on how we wanted to live our lives. It’s happened quickly, with so many children. Yesterday, picking up the kids from school, Brad turned around in the car, and there were three of them. He couldn’t stop laughing. We love them and are having a great time.

How the decision was made to have a biological child:

It was. Before I met Brad, I always said I was happy never to have a child biologically. He told me he hadn’t given up that thought. Then, a few months after Z came home, I saw Brad with her and Mad, and I realized how much he loved them, that a biological child would not in any way be a threat. So I said, “I want to try.”

On Pax:

Pax is almost three and a half and has never made a real decision for himself because everybody does everything in a group in the orphanage. There were all these things he’d never had. The first time I gave him a bath, he was suddenly laughing, out of his mind. He took five baths in one day. We’d be talking and he’d take his clothes off and run into the bathroom.

The Pax-Mommy bonding experience:

The first two days, he cried a lot. I hired a translator, and he would explain what was going on. The first night, I slept alone with him. I was expecting him to wake up and scream, but he woke and just stared at me. I handed him a stuffed animal, and we walked around the room pointing at things. By day three, he didn’t want me to put him down. I think he got used to the reality that somebody loves you and that’s what a mommy is.

Jugging quality time with each child:

We had a long talk with Mad about the fact that his brother is going to be scared and that Mommy is going to have to give him attention. And we’ve tried to figure out a lot of private time for each of them. When everybody goes to bed, we give Mad time. When everybody is at school, we give Shiloh time. In between, Z and Pax each get special time. And on Sundays we have a big family sleep, when the boys get in bed with us and we watch a movie. It started with Mad, then Pax, and now Z is desperate to move into the bed. We’re talking about having to build a bigger bed!

While reading this interview it becomes apparent that Angelina and Brad are intouch with their children’s needs at the organic level. Everything they do is for balance and bonding, which is impressive for a high profile celebrity couple.

She may be one of those moms who can handle 5 or 6 children . Not everyone is made to lead such a big family, but I think she’s up to the task.

Angelina Jolie Adopts A Vietnamese Boy

Well it is almost official – Angelina Jolie is adopting a little boy from Vietnam named Pax Thien. The boy, age 3 or 4, had been registered as Pham Quang Sang at the Tam Binh orphanage in the city, but has since been renamed.

Angelina flew to Ho Chi Minh City late on Wednesday on a chartered plane from Japan with Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh. (There are conflicting reports whether Angelina is with all three children or just Maddox)

Angelina and the little boy were driven by car from the orphanage to the nine-storey Justice Department building in the city centre to sign adoption documents.

“This morning he woke up at 6, just like all the children,” Nguyen Van Trung, director of the orphanage said. “He put on new clothes, and he was very excited.”

Trung said the child at first seemed shy with his mother-to-be, he said. When Jolie and the boy left, the orphanage staff and children gave them a round of applause.

“It seemed like she was very good at getting along with children,” Trung said.

Someone carried the boy outside to a waiting Toyota minivan with dark windows, and his face was shielded from photographers with an umbrella.

Department of Justice in Ho Chi Minh City, where Vietnamese adoption officials said a ceremony was conducted at which Jolie officially took possession of the child.

After about half an hour, two vehicles left the building, followed by a buzz of reporters and photographers.

Trevor Neilson, Jolie’s adviser on international affairs, speaking from South Africa, said Jolie was at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City Thursday afternoon and had no plans to return home this weekend.

He said that she complained in a telephone call to him that paparazzi had attacked her car as she left the orphanage, pounding on the door and throwing things under the vehicle to prevent it from going.

“Angelina understands the interest in her life, but we hope that the paparazzi can have some restraint when it comes to the safety and emotional health of this boy,” Neilson said.

The boy, described by adoption authorities as healthy, had been abandoned at a local hospital in 2003 and cared for since at the orphanage.

The actress, 31, filed adoption papers in early March through an unidentified American agency without Pitt. Under Vietnamese law, a single person may adopt a child but an unmarried couple may not.

In Vietnam, adoptions can take as little as one month if background checks are quickly completed along with confirmation the adopting family can support a child. The process can drag on for six months or more.

Jolie and Pitt visited Ho Chi Minh City last November and met children at the orphanage.

The couple say they have no plans to marry but are committed to raising their children together. Their biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, was born last year. Jolie adopted Maddox from Cambodia and Zahara from Ethiopia before her relationship with Pitt, who has now become their adoptive father.

The adoption will be final once U.S. consular and embassy officials give approval.

I have chosen not to cover this story up until now because I wasn’t sure the details in the media were accurate. It seems that she IS in fact adopting another child and he will probably making his way to the U.S. in the next few weeks.

I applaud her efforts to spotlight regions in the world that need extra help when it comes to children, but I don’t think that she alone can adopt a child from every continent that needs assistance.

We wish them good luck. Having 4 children will be a lot of work, but I am sure she is an old pro by now!
