Here he is! Maxwell Sutter was born on July 27th, four weeks early, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces.

He is introduced to the world in an elaborate photo spread put together by US Magazine.

After struggling to conceive for two years, the couple opened up to the magazine about the challenges they faced in getting pregnant.

“EPT sent me about 100 pregnancy tests, and I discovered I was pregnant with the very last one.”

In her nineth month doctors found protein in her urine and tested the reality star for preeclampsia, a potentially fatal hypertensive disorder that typically occurs toward the end of a pregnancy.

“I was terribly nauseous and in a lot of pain,” she says.

Trista was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome (a complication of preeclampsia). “The risks are seizures and coma, so they kept me overnight for observation,” Trista explains. “I can’t remember much of the next day. My liver was failing. The only cure for HELLP syndrome is to have the baby, so they induced me.”

After six hours Trista’s levels kept getting worse. “I knew something was wrong when the doctor looked worried.” Ryan tells Us, “They said there was a chance her liver could rupture. They were trying to get us to make a comfortable decision to go with a C-section. Eventually we said if Trista’s health is deteriorating and we’re jeopardizing the baby’s health, then do what you have to do.”

Trista And Ryan Welcome Baby Boy

Congratulations to The Bachelor’s Trista and Ryan on the safe arrival of their baby boy.

Maxwell Alston Sutter arrived yesterday a few weeks ahead of schedule weighing in at 5 pounds, 3 ounces.

“He’s perfect and beautiful, and everyone’s doing great,” Trista, 34, told US Magazine of her firstborn.

Trista, 34, and Ryan, 32, had been trying to conceive for two years before announcing their pregnancy in February.

The couple did not want know the child’s gender, the new mom said.

“I’m a fan of surprises, so my love of surprises outweighed it. For the first one for us, we just want a healthy baby.”

The Sutters, who now live in Vail, Colorado, are expecting their first child, due August 23. “It took us a long time to get pregnant so it makes it that much sweeter,” Trista tells Usmagazine.com. “It’s my dream to be a mom.”

She hosted 30 of her friends and family for a baby shower at Beaver Creek Resort earlier this month. In between opening presents and scrapbooking for the baby US Magazine was able to get her to open up about how things are going.

On not finding out the sex of the baby:

“I’m a huge planner…but even more so I’m a fan of surprises, so my love of surprises outweighed it,” Trista explains. “For the first one for us, we just want a healthy baby.”

On why she hasn’t bought anything for the baby yet:

“Because we don’t know the sex it’s not like I’m seeing cute little girls and boy clothes and feeling like I have to have it,” Trista says.

Trista kept her guests busy decorating tanks from the Hot Moms Club and designing scrapbook pages for the baby. She tells Us her favorite part of being pregnant is when the baby kicks. “I’m a worry-wart by nature and when it kicks, especially in the morning and before I go to bed, I think ‘Good, you’re in there and you’re ok.'”

The birthing plan:

“My doctor said if the baby is big because I’m so small, she’ll have to give me a c-section.”

Trista Sutter: Pregnant and Pampered

Ok Magazine got an exclusive interview with expectant parents Ryan and Trista Sutter. The couple, who’s first child is due late this summer, spent the day getting pampered at The Beaver Creek and Spa in Beaver Creek, Colo.

Highlights of the interview:

Nervous about becoming parent?
Trista – No, Not really. I’ve worked with kids for a long time and I am excited to meet him/her.
Ryan – I’m excited but nervous. You want to be a good day but you worry about the health of your baby and being able to raise it so they become a good person. It’s a lot of responsibility and I don’t take that lightly.

Finding out the sex of the baby? Trista – No we haven’t. We want to be surprised. We’ve talked about names, but we haven’t settled on anything yet. I would really like to meet the baby first.

Favourite part of being pregnant?
Trista – Feeling the baby kick is pretty cool.

First time parents reality show?
Trista – One hundred percent NO! When it comes to cameras being in your private life 24 hours a day, that’s something that we’re both in total agreement will never be happening again. That’s how we met and were appreciative of that, but that won’t be happening. Sorry to the public if they were wanting to see any of the birth.

Trista and Ryan Sutter Expecting First Child

Trista and Ryan Sutter, who are better known as the only “Bachlorette” couple that stayed together, are expecting their first child.

The couple is excited after trying for 2 years to conceive.

Ryan, 32, a Colorado fireman, got the news from Trista, 34, a purse designer, when he flew into Denver International Airport on Dec. 18 after participating in a mountain expedition in Argentina.

“He was completely windburned and his lips were dry,” Trista recalls. “We had a three-hour drive back to our home from the airport and I couldn’t wait to tell him, so I pulled him aside to a quiet part of the baggage claim area and told him there.”

Adds Ryan, “I am happy to be able to finally be a dad
