Celebrity Families Attend P.S. ARTS 14th Annual Express Yourself

Hollywood came out this afternoon to attend the P.S. ARTS 14th Annual Express Yourself event held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. 

Hosted by Target, the event was organized to showcase the vast opportunities that P.S. ARTS Express Yourself is able to provide to thousands of students in Los Angeles County and the Central Valley.
Many California public schools have no arts programs at all – no painting, drawing, acting, singing or dancing. For 18 years, P.S. ARTS has been working to restore arts education to these schools, serving those schools most in need first. Since their founding, they have positively impacted the lives of tens of thousands of children attending.

Actress Soleil Moon Frye and husband Jason Goldberg were photographed getting ready for Halloween with their daughters Poet Sienna Rose and Jagger at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Batch West Hollywood, California on Saturday. 

Celebs love Mr. Bones because it has a straw maze, pumpkin decorating, face painting and a cool slide. Jagger stayed with her dad for most of the trip and played on the giant rocking horse, while Poet helped her mom pick out the perfect pumpkin.

Soleil Moon Frye and Her Girls Cover Baby Couture Magazine

Soleil Moon Frye and her beautiful daughters Jagger and Poet cover Baby Couture‘s 5th Anniversary Edition.

Known for her 80’s role as Punky Brewster and later as the  College sidekick to Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Soleil has spent the last few years promoting her Eco-friendly Los Angeles boutique The Little Seed. 

The actress, along with her business partner Paige Goldberg Tolmach recently launched Little Seed, an organic baby clothing line, at Target.

The 100% organic cotton line is similar in design to the one they sell in their own boutique and includes brightly colored solid booties, beanies, onesies and pull-on pants and ranges from $7.99 to $12.99. 

For the Baby Couture pictorial, Soleil is photographed enjoying motherhood.  The family enjoys time together running on the beach, jumping on the bed all while wearing some very cute clothes from Zutano, Anita J, Little Marc Jacobs and of course, Little Seed.

The Little Seed Launches Private Label Clothing Line

Yesterday The Little Seed, a children’s specialty boutique carrying eco-friendly, organic and non-toxic products, launched their Private Label with an event sponsored by Weleda, the Swiss-based brand of 100% certified natural mother and baby care, skin care and homeopathic medicines, to benefit Healthy Child, Healthy World last night in Los Angeles.

The Private Label introduced a range of onesies, tunics, shirts, pants and accessories in 6 amazing colors, all made of organic and raw cotton. The line is entirely manufactured in the U.S.A. and varies in price from $16 to $50 and on.

Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg Renew Wedding Vows

Joined by their daughters Poet, 3, and Jagger, 7 months, Soleil Moon Frye and her husband, producer Jason Goldberg, renewed their vows at their Hollywood Hills home over the weekend.

“Besides the days my children were born – and my first wedding – it was the best night of my life,” Frye, who co-owns L.A.’s eco-friendly children’s boutique, The Little Seed, told People.

The intimate ceremony, designed by friend Lisa Rowe and held in the couple’s garden at sunset, “was magical,” adds Frye, who wore a gown from Les Habitudes.

Amid roses, hydrangeas and gardenias, the couple’s loved ones also enjoyed a “home-cooked feast” including brisket and pasta along with a white cake with chocolate filling.

In honor of the occasion, Poet and Jagger planted a pomegranate tree. Friends were also sent home with their own tree to plant.

Soleil Moon Frye Talks Pregnancy, Motherhood and Organics in this months Baby Couture magazine.

The hands-on mom to two beautiful girls splits her time between motherhood and the eco-friendly boutique she co-owns in Los Angeles called, “The Little Seed.” Here are some highlights of the interview:

On Demi being her birthcoach for both pregnancies:

She is one of the most incredible birthing coaches in the universe. She has a real gift. She is one of the people you want holding your hand when you’re bringing a baby into the world, and I’ve been blessed with an incredible group of family and friends both times.

On the difference between her two pregnancies:

Both were incredible. During my pregnancy with Poet, I was reading every step of the way—”What To Expect When You’re Expecting,” and other pregnancy books—I had music on my belly, and I think I called my doctor every single day. Ha ha! With Jagger, I was so busy running after Poet and opening the store, that I started having contractions two months before my due date.

Why she started Little Seed:

When I had Poet, and my partner Paige [Tolmach] had her son Jackson, it felt like our eyes were opened to the world for the first time. When you have kids, your perspective changes so much. We both had so many questions about parenthood, and what was healthy for our children. We spent hundreds of hours searching for organic alternatives that were safe and non-toxic, and we realized there wasn’t really a safe haven for families to go to. We knew that if we were feeling this way, there must be millions of other people feeling the same way, so we created ”The Little Seed.”
