People Magazine To Offer Jennifer Lopez Up To $6M For First Baby Photos

The Daily Mail is reporting that People Magazine has been in talks with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony for the first exclusive pictures of the family.

People is rumored to have offered the couple between $4million and $6million for the exclusive U.S. rights.

Jennifer is expected to give birth to twins any day, her first children with husband Marc.

The pay-out, said to be between the star and People Magazine, would set an industry record.

Jennifer’s PR rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnick said she had heard inquiries, but declined to say more.

People magazine’s managing editor Larry Hackett said: “I have no comment on these particular pictures.”

However, he admitted: “Readers have to know that when there’s a huge picture, a baby, a wedding, some life moment, People magazine is the place that you’re going to find that.”

RECALL: Cinderella Battery-Powered Toy Cars Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This is a crazy recall…The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Dumar International USA today announced a voluntary recall of about 64,000 Cinderella 12-Volt Electric Ride-On Vehicles because the wires under the hood of the car and/or in the battery compartment under the seat can short circuit, posing a fire and burn hazard to children riding in the car.

The firm and CPSC are aware of 40 incidents of the toy car’s wires overheating. In several incidents, smoke was seen coming out from underneath the seat area where the battery is located. In one incident, flames shot from under the hood while a 4-year-old girl was riding the vehicle. No injuries have been reported.

The electric ride-on toy resembles the Pontiac Solstice. It is light blue and has Cinderella graphics on the front and sides. The wheels, steering wheel and two seats are pink. The white dashboard may contain an optional radio. “Pontiac Solstice” is printed on the back of the car. “Walt Disney’s Cinderella Special Edition” is printed on the license plate. It is designed for children 4 to 7 years old.

The cars were at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from August 2005 through February 2006 for about $200.

Parents are being asked to take the toy cars away from children and contact Dumar International at (866) 424-0500 or www.dumarusa.com for a free retrofit kit, including a new battery.

Campbell’s Reducing Sodium in Some Kids Soups

Good news for parents today. Campbell’s coup has announced that they will be reducing the amount of sodium in kid-oriented soups for the second time in three years.

The company said 12 soups for kids, which feature characters like Dora the Explorer and Batman, will have 480 milligrams of sodium per serving. The 20 percent reduction means the company can now legally label them as healthy foods.

Some of the reformulated soups will ship as early as June. The company said all of them will be widely available by the fall.

It makes you wonder how bad it was for us before the sodium two reductions. SOURCE
