Britney and Sons Appear On The Cover Of OK Magazine

Britney Spears appears on the cover of this week’s edition of OK Magazine with 2 sons Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2.

During the photoshoot, that was conducted before the star lost visitation her rights, the photographer, Dani Brubaker, told OK! that Britney was “very attentive” to the needs of her sons.

When she was given the photos from the shoot Brubaker reveals, “I’m told that when she saw the photographs she literally cried for over an hour and stared at them all night long.”

I can’t help but feel like Britney just needs some guidance and help to be a good mom. A good start would be getting out of crazy LA and moving to a town that is small and personal.

Meeting moms who have kids her age and attending playgroups would also help with some perspective.

Study: Meningitis Shot Boosts Infants Immunity

British and Canadian researchers have found that a new type of meningitis vaccine boosts the immunity of infants as young as six months, offering a potential new weapon against this deadly disease.

The vaccine, is aimed at four of the most common strains of meningococcal meningitis, a potentially fatal bacterial disease involving inflammation of membranes around the brain and spinal cord. It primarily affects babies, particularly those aged 3 to 12 months.

The new vaccine replaces an older vaccine currently licensed in the United States, which offers poor protection for infants, who are most at risk, according to Matthew Snape of Britain’s University of Oxford.

“This vaccine offers the hope that the number of young children experiencing this devastating illness can be dramatically reduced,” Snape said in an e-mail.

In December 1.2 million doses of the vaccine was recalled in Canada and The U.S. because of contamination risks.

Missouri Couple Loses All Six Babies In High Risk Pregnancy

I am very sad to report that Mandi Jarvis, the mom from Excelsior Springs Missouri, has lost all six of the babies she was carrying.

Mandi miscarried three babies on Sunday and the other three today, said Carol Graham, founder and CEO of the Liberty Women’s Clinic.Carol said she had spent time with Eric and Mandi Jarvis over the past few days, and said the family is trying to heal emotionally.

The babies were to be the couple’s first. After having troubles conceiving, Mandi and Eric turned to injections of Follistim, an ovulation-inducing drug.

Early on in the pregnancy an hCG test revealed abnormally high numbers, so her doctor determined she was having multiples.

It wasn’t until week seven that the couple found out that they were expecting sextuplets.

Mandi had been on bed rest in the hospital for the last 4 weeks. She was in her 22nd week.

We wish the couple well, many people have them in their prayers.

The Jolie-Pitts Hit Chuckie Cheese

US Magazine has exclusive photos of the Brad and Angelina with Brad’s family at Chuckie Cheese’s.

Along with Pitt’s family (including several nieces and nephews), they feasted on pizza and played arcade games during the two-hour-plus visit. Pitt even doled out game tokens.

“Brad was surrounded by a bunch of girls and boys. Angelina was holding Shiloh. She was so cute!” a fellow diner said

On January 2, the party of 16 — including Pitt’s parents, Jane and Bill; computer-shop-owner brother Doug, 41, and his wife, Lisa; stay-at-home-mom, sister Julie, 38, and her husband, Rob; and the Jolie-Pitt kids and their cousins — popped by Arris’ Pizza, a Pitt family haunt, for barbecue chicken and veggie and plain pies.

“The kids were so polite,” co-owner Tani Kremer tells US of the four pint-size Jolie-Pitts, whom Mom and Dad made sure said “please” and “thank you.”

“Brad and Angelina are great parents,” she added.

The whole story appears in US Magazine’s current edition – on stands now.
