I love everything that is designed by lamaze. The bright colours, unusual fabrics and interesting textures always made my son happy and kept him occupied for long periods of time.
Tummy time is an issue for most parents because babies have to work harder and they don’t like it. The majority of parents will tell you that they don’t do tummy time because it is a hassle and they don’t want to hear their baby complain.
The Spin & Explore Garden Gym is a neat way to get your baby used to being on their tummy.
Your baby will gently and comfortably spin round on his/her tummy, stretching and building upper bodies while exploring lots of squeaky, crinkly, tactile fun. You can also remove the spinner, after you child can sit up, which will allow them to explore on their own terms.

The ‘caffeine during pregnancy issue’ is somewhat of a grey area because caffeine is not viewed by most people as dangerous.
In January, a Danish study was released as ‘reassurance’ to expecting moms that they could have up to 300mgs of caffeine per day. The NYtimes examines a few studies that were done in previous years and finds that consuming one to three cups of coffee a day had a 30 percent increased risk of miscarriage, while those who had the equivalent of at least five cups had more than double the risk.
There is now general agreement that low caffeine intake during pregnancy — about 150 milligrams a day, or roughly 1.5 cups of coffee — is safe.

Live Tyler and her adorable son Milo, 2, were seen out for a stroll in NYC.
Milo cruises along in the Maclaren Techno XLR stroller. It seems to be the travel stroller of choice for the city celebrities. The stroller is very compact when folded, accommodates your child up to 65lbs and has a four position fully reclining seat.

Thousands of women may have been exposed to faulty pregnancy tests that wrongly indicate they are not having a baby.
Up to 50 hospitals across the UK are seeking to trace women who may be unaware they are pregnant because of a faulty batch of the Clearview HGC test.
There are believed to be 44 potentially erroneous tests but tens of thousands of women may have been given the product in the past three months before the problem was spotted.
The NHS is unsure which women received the faulty tests and one general hospital is seeking to alert 1,400 women. Tracing the women is important in case they endanger their baby by drinking heavily or by engaging in other unsuitable activity or behaviour.
The fault was spotted by one, unnamed, hospital, which contacted Inverness Medical Innovations. The American global healthcare group then began an investigation that culminated in a product recall on 31 May, when it wrote to 50 hospitals.
These tests should indicate any pregnancy, but they are especially designed to spot ectopic pregnancies, where the baby develops outside the uterus, most commonly in the fallopian tubes. Many such pregnancies end without the mother even knowing. But they can be dangerous, hence the use of Clearview HGC by accident and emergency departments.

You can see from this photo that Kelly Ripa is a no nonsense mommy. She has her 2 kids Michael, 10, and Lola, 6, in tow and one freeloading on the back her suitcase as she hails a cab at Laguardia.
I see why she is so thin. You know hauling her youngest son Joaquin, 4, around is no easy job.

My son is at the stage where he wants to play at a table, but not sit in a chair. We find that he is not co-ordinated enough to sit in a small child’s chair and play at the same time. This table would be perfect for him because it is low enough to the ground for him to reach by simply using a cushion.
