It seems to be the thing to do now. Get pregnant and then do the ‘Demi’ on the cover of a major magazine. Britney Spears did it while pregnant with Jayden and now Mylene Klass is following suit.

Miss Klass, 29, who was a swimwear-clad contestant on I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here!, appears naked save an engagement ring and gold butterfly-design necklace on the cover of the latest edition of Glamour magazine.

In the accompanying interview Miss Klass, the new face of Marks & Spencer, describes how she and her fiance Graham Quinn – a former bodyguard from her Hear’Say days – are preparing for the arrival of their baby girl, who is due in August.

“Last week I cleared a rail of my wardrobe and we went out and bought little pink outfits for the baby,” she said. “I let Graham choose the first one because I thought it was an important bonding step – his daughter’s first outfit.”

She looks great. If my body looked that good, I’d pose nude while pregnant for a cover shot as well!!

Husband delivers HIV-Positive Wife’s Baby As Doctors Refuse

An Indian husband was forced to deliver his wife’s baby after doctors refused to touch the HIV-positive woman, a report said Friday.

The husband told India’s NDTV news channel he carried out the delivery as doctors at Meerut Medical College and Hospital in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh shouted instructions from a distance. “They came but simply stood in a line and asked me to pull out the baby and cut the umbilical cord,” said the 28-year-old man, described as a poor painter, in Meerut town, 65 kilometres from the Indian capital New Delhi.

The hospital “asked me to clean up all the blood and burn the waste,” the man said. “The doctors were not coming,” his wife told NDTV, a day after the delivery of the couple’s fourth child. Hospital officials dismissed the couple’s complaints when questioned by NDTV. “How can I believe what he said?” said Abhilasha Gupta, head of the medical school’s gynaecology department. “These days those who have HIV think they will get media sympathy by blaming others.”

But officials from India’s National Aids Control Organisation (NCAO) expressed shock at the report and said it would be investigated. “In this particular case we have recommended stringent action against the doctors,” NACO chief Sujatha Rao told the channel. “Even if they were to touch contaminated blood, they are not in danger.”

It’s amazing how dedicated this man is to his wife and unborn child.

Aren’t there protocols that doctor’s must follow if they come in contact with a person who is infected with HIV?

Rubber Ducky Invasion

A fleet of 29,000 rubber ducks is set to wash up on Britain’s shores after a 15-year, 17,000-mile epic journey.

They are expected on Cornwall beaches in late summer, reports The Sun.

The bath toys were set adrift in the Pacific after a container was washed off a cargo ship in 1992.

The sea corroded packaging, freeing the Chinese yellow ducks, plus blue turtles, red beavers and green frogs. Their colour has since faded to white.

Experts have tracked them across the world, spotting them in Alaska, Siberia, Japan, Iceland and Canada.

Oceans scientist Curtis Ebbesmeyer said: “They’ll turn up on English beaches.”

Collectors pay up to £500 for the toys which have The First Years stamped on them.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR:

10 JANUARY 1992: Somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean nearly 29,000 First Years bath toys, including bright yellow rubber ducks, are spilled from a cargo ship in the Pacific Ocean.

16 NOVEMBER 1992: Caught in the Subpolar Gyre (counter-clockwise ocean current in the Bering Sea, between Alaska and Siberia), the ducks take 10 months to begin landing on the shores of Alaska.

EARLY 1995: The ducks take three years to circle around. East from the drop site to Alaska, then west and south to Japan before turning back north and east passing the original drop site and again landing in North America. Some ducks are even found In Hawaii. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) worked out that the ducks travel approximately 50 per pent faster than the water in the current.

1995 – 2000: Some intrepid ducks escape the Subpolar Gyre and head North, through the Bering Straight and into the frozen waters of the Arctic. Frozen into the ice the ducks travel slowly across the pole, moving ever eastward.

2000: Ducks begin reaching the North Atlantic where they begin to thaw and move Southward. Soon ducks are sighted bobbing in the waves from Maine to Massachusetts.

2001: Ducks are tracked in the area where the Titanic sank.

JULY TO DECEMBER 2003: The First Years company offers a $100 savings bond reward for the recovery of wayward ducks from the 1992 spill. To be valid ducks must be sent to the company and must be found in New England, Canada or Iceland. Britain is told to prepare for an invasion of the wayward ducks as well.

2003: A lawyer called Sonali Naik was on holiday in the Hebrides in north-west Scotland when she found a faded green frog on the beach marked with the magic words ‘The First Years’. Unaware of the significance of her find she left it on the beach. It was only when she was chatting to other guests at her hotel that she realised what she had seen.
