Cast Your BUMP In Stone

After your baby has arrived, you will wish that you had a reminder of how big you got and how cute your belly was.

Mommy’s Belly.ca sells belly cast kits that will capture every nook and cranny of your bump for you to remember forever.

You can cast your belly and breast, your hands on your belly or your partner’s hands on your belly.

The process takes about an hour and you will have to stand while the kit solidifies.

Lying down is not recommended because it flattens your belly preventing it from getting the full effect of your size.

They suggest that you put on some music, lay down a drop cloth and keep the camera close by to capture the moment.

When the cast has set some moms will paint it, decoupage or have their newborn photographed inside of it. It can also be hung on the wall with decorative ribbon.

Full instructions and finishing suggestions are included in the kit, which will run
you $55 CAD for the Basic package or $175 for the ‘spoil me’ option.

Larry Birkhead Talks To Greta Van Sustren About Dannielynn And His Life Changing

Airing on Monday evening, Larry Birkhead speaks to Foxnews’ Greta Van Sustren about how his life has changed in the last year.

Miss Dannielynn accompanies her daddy during his interview showing how she has adjusted beautifully to her new life. She is dressed in a yellow jumpsuit bouncing and giggling through the interview. She appears to have grown quite a bit in the last month. She looks longer and more mature.

Larry talks about how having Dannielynn effects his every decision. He tends to not do things with friends that may have risks because he worries that something may happen to him and she will be left alone.

These are the qualities of a good parent. Someone who makes a decision that is best for their child over what is best for themselves. I think that it was an amazing twist of fate that Dannielyn was given to Larry. He seems to have what it takes to give this little girl a normal up bringing and after losing her mom so early in life she needs all the love she can get.

The interview with Greta airs on Monday June 11th at 10pm on Foxnews.

"Quick Change Crib"

The quick change crib was born after a couple’s baby needed her crib changed at 2am. We have all been there and it is not fun to change the bedding on a crib in the middle of the day let alone at 2am.

Because the mattress is designed to fit snugly against the frame of the crib, changing the bedding can be tricky, especially if you have toys attached to the side.

The quick change crib has a door on the side where the mattress slides out for you to change the bedding.

It is designed to bypass, the bumpers(which are not recommended) and toys.

This crib is a great idea and it also has a nice look. You can choose between 5 different finishes and is priced at $495.

Heelys Accidents Account For 1,600 ER visits Last Year

Everywhere I go I see tons of kids flying by me on these makeshift rollerskate type shoes. They don’t seem safe because the kids are going so fast and are not holding onto anything.

Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that more kids are getting hurt from misuse of these shoes that originally thought – 1,600 kids to be exact.

Those injuries were mostly in children, the target market for the wheeled shoes that send kids cruising down sidewalks, across playgrounds and through shopping mall crowds.

Scott Wolfson, a spokesman for the Consumer Product Safety Commission, said last week that the agency knew of at least 64 roller shoe-related injuries and one death between September 2005 through December 2006.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons posted on Tuesday that they are recommending kids wear helmets, wrist protectors and knee and elbow pads when wearing the wheeled shoes.

On Monday, a report in June’s Pediatrics said 67 children were treated for roller-shoe injuries at a Dublin, Ireland hospital during a 10-week period last summer.

Heelys, the most popular brand, are sold in 70 countries. They’re made by Carrollton, Texas-based Heelys Inc., which maintains that the shoes have a safer injury rate than skateboarding, inline skating and even swimming.

No Comment was given by the company.
