Two weeks ago the Brady Byler was the first of his siblings to leave the hospital and go home with his parents.Today he is joined by his sister MacKenzie Margaret and brother Eli Benjamin Byler.

Three more sextuplets remain in the hospital: Ryan Patrick, Jackson Robert and Charlie Craig. Neonatologist Carine Stromquis says the four benchmarks for a baby to go home are taking every feeding by mouth, maintaining stable body temperature and respiratory functions and weighing at least 4 pounds.

The family has set up 3 cribs in one bedroom for the babies to sleep in and converted their garage into a playspace in preparation for the homecoming.

Update: Shoplifting Suspect Who Left Baby in TJ Maxx Turns Herself in

We reported yesterday on a horrible story of a mom that abandoned her baby because she was suspected of shoplifting.

Today Newsday writes that the Bronx mother has turned herself into police.

Lieutenant Chris McNerney says 39-year-old Suzette Gruber arrived at the police station Tuesday morning with her attorney. McNerney said she was to be charged with child abandonment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say Gruber and another woman were suspected of shoplifting at the discount clothing store on Monday. When a security guard approached she ran leaving the baby in the carriage. However police said she also left behind indentifying information.

Police said a man claiming to be the baby’s father went to police headquarters Monday night with a birth certificate, but officers wouldn’t release the child to him.

The baby has been placed with Westchester Child Protective Services.

What I didn’t know yesterday was that the baby is only 8 months old!! Hearing that really broke my heart.

Could you imagine leaving your 8 month old baby in the middle of a store because you needed to flee the scene?

As you can see from the picture, the baby is very popular with the photogs.

Emma and Boyfriend Jade recently introduced the 2 month old new edition to the world on Emma’s personal blog.

At that time she said:

“He is a bonny little soul, and he makes us so happy, he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us.”

Toddler Survives Plane Crash

A three-year-old girl is being called a miracle baby after being found alive in the wreck of a plane crash near Golden, B.C., yesterday.

The girl, Kate Williams, was the lone survivor of a crash on Sunday that claimed the lives of her grandfather and his business associate.

Rescue crews found Kate strapped into a child’s car seat inside an upside-down airplane buried in snow on the edge of an icy riverbank.

“I think the care that was taken in placing the child in there, that extra protection, is what basically, I think, saved her life,” Golden RCMP Sgt. Marko Shehovac told CTV News.

The little girl’s grandfather, Allen D. Williams, was flying the plane. He is remembered as “a visionary and a leader in the consulting engineering industry throughout Alberta and across the country”.

Williams, 65, the CEO and founder of an Edmonton engineering firm, was in B.C. for a business retreat with Steven T. Sutton, the company’s chief financial officer.

They were flying back to Edmonton when Williams’ Cessna 172 crashed an hour after taking off from Golden around 1 p.m. local time, killing both men.

Hospital officials say that Kate suffered non-life threatening head injuries and was reunited with her parents in the southeastern B.C. community of Golden.

She was admitted to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, for overnight observation.

Rescuers said that bad weather and nightfall hampered the search efforts.

Members of Golden’s search-and-rescue team said when Kate was recovered on Sunday she was scared and cried for her teddy bear.

Maddox’ Shopping Spree

Angelina takes Maddox on a shopping spree at KB Toys in Beverly Hills over the weekend.

The lucky guy is loading up the cart with some interesting toys…A warrior dart play set and rapid fire rifle dart blaster.

Pregnancy rumours have surfaced again after the star canceled a speaking engagement last minute due to “personal reasons”.

Letizia Manjani, a spokeswoman for the centre that was holding the fore mentioned engagement, found it difficult to keep the news a secret – despite her being under a gagging order.

She told me: “Angelina cancelled last week. Due to her privacy I can’t confirm her pregnancy, but I can say that the Italian newspapers are correct in their reports.”

RECALL: Britax Marathon Child Safety Seats

Britax Child Safety, Inc. is recalling more than 34,000 Marathon child safety seats because the seats fail to meet federal standards. The specific Marathon seats being recalled are model numbers E9L06, E9W06, and E906, manufactured between May 23 and June 28, 2006.

During compliance testing with child dummies weighing more than 50 pounds by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the upper tether hook in some of the Marathon models bent, failing to secure the seat back properly.

“This could result in an injury to the restrained child in a crash,” according to NHTSA.

All registered owners of the Marathon seats will receive a safety notification, along with a replacement top tether hook, NHTSA officials said.

Federal safety regulators recommend that parents who have the affected seats contact Britax about what precautions may be necessary with regard to continued use of the seat while they are awaiting the replacement top tether hook.

Additional information can be found at www.MarathonRecall.com. Owners may contact Britax’s toll-free number at 1-800-683-2045.

NHTSA reported that the recall is being conducted after the agency denied a petition by Britax that the top tether hooks were not a safety concern. Consumers with questions about this or any other safety recall campaign should contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153); or go to http://www.safercar.gov.

Momspit- No-Rinse Cleanser for Hands and Face

I have seen this cleanser on a few websites, but didn’t give it a second thought because of the name.

The phrase ‘mom spit’ brings me back to the gooey fluid that my mom used to use to clean my face, arm or any other part of my body that got dirty while we were out.

I am guessing by the spa-like combinations this company has come up, the name does not reflect my childhood memories.

This no rinse cleanser comes in Fig & Green Tea, Lemon & White Tea and Unscented. It is alcohol free, mousse’s up for easier use and leaves skin moisturized, fresh and clean.

MomSpit is ideal for parents and children, when they’re on the move and in their groove.

It is recyclable, refillable and not tested on animals.

MomSpit is available in convenient and portable 2oz ($9) and 7oz ($18) moussing bottles in three unisex scents.
